Our MD, Richard Midson has been at the forefront of media for more than 10 years, working in both national broadcasting and online media.

His online work includes a niche hobby show which within ten months was watched in 34 countries, 3 times a week. It achieved this success entirely through social media marketing.

His traditional media work includes editing and reporting at a national level for companies like ITN and LBC London. His campaigning radio documentary work on disabled rights won an award and lead to changes from a rail company. He’s also spent time reporting on prostitution, drug abuse and environmental campaigning.

After many years reporting and editing, Richard became the host of a London wide, interview based news programme. This largely unscripted show was broadcast live for 3 hours a day in the drive time slot, 5 days a week. He got the job thanks to his probing yet disarming and friendly interview style and his ability to turn dry subjects into stories that engaged and excited an audience.

Since then he’s talked and trained on media skills both online and offline, and even branched into others areas. He was recently asked to bring a talk about cash flow to life for Business Link London and set the room alight on what is considered to be a “boring” subject. The audience scored the talk highly with comments such as “Very, very good. Made finance relevant and interesting”.

Richard is a passionate believer that everyone has a story inside them and has worked with a whole manner of businesses and groups to help them do this. This has included national charities, national single issue campaign groups, small one man businesses and even civil servants from the home office.
